While inspiring you to move, we will also help you achieve your fitness goals.  We strive to help people enhance their fitness levels and achieve their health goals.  Through stretching the tight strong muscles, while strengthening the long weak muscles you can achieve a balanced body both physically and mentally.  Our programs here at Fit Bodies. Fit Minds can be participated in on their own, or added to compliment your already existing fitness routine.  Since one of our goals is to train the deep muscles, we will only enhance your lifestyle.  Our programs are appropriate for anyone of any fitness level.  We can and will help you!

Kyla Faganely is a hardworking and motivated individual who is dedicated to health and fitness promotion. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology, a Bachelor of Education Degree, and a multitude of fitness certification, certificates  and qualifications. Kyla has worked and trained in the fitness industry for over twenty years and in a variety of countries and communities worldwide, including Australia, Europe, the United States, Canada, and Costa Rica. Throughout her years of training and education, Kyla has worked with and trained under some of the fitness industry’s top professionals.
It is because of her training and education where Kyla became passionate about deep muscle activation, training the body from the inside out, athletic training, functional fitness, correctional fitness, pre and postnatal training, youth training, and so much more. She strongly believes in the mind-body connection and truly enjoys helping others achieve their fitness goals. Her inspiration to help others has led her to her newest avenue of corporate wellness and motivational speaking. Through her most recent training, Kyla has become appreciative and passionate about corrective and functional fitness to help align people’s body and correct faulty motor patterns, all of which will provide for a more balanced body. Not only does Kyla continue to educate herself in fitness, always looking for new knowledge to help her clients, but she is also the health and wellness certification provider — where she certifies anyone looking to become a personal trainer. She also works with, and for, many health professionals as continuing education. Not only does Kyla educate and train everyday people, but she also works with athletes, teams and special people.

Jill Bowes has always had a passion for fitness and health, and lives to inspire others.  Her love of group fitness began at the age of 10 when she taught classmates during school breaks and danced competitively.  She currently manages the Fit Bodies. Fit Minds. studio and also has past experience running a fitness center and managing several group fitness programs.  She trains clients of all fitness levels and teaches a wide-variety of fitness classes. Her positive attitude and safe but fun approach to exercise, helps people relate to Jill and effectively reach their goals and feel inspired.  Jill has developed specific fitness programs for helping special populations such as cancer survivors and seniors.  One of her true loves is watching someone get stronger both in mind and body and become more confident.

Leon Anderson-Knight –  CanFitPro Certified Personal Trainer, Level One Fascial Stretch Therapist

Leon’s career in fitness started later in life; although always active, he is a natural athlete. He loves sports, especially basketball, surfing and golfing.

He is especially passionate about increasing proper mobility and injury prevention. As a Fascial Stretch Therapist, Leon focuses on proper form and deep muscle activation.

He is a true believer in taking your time to do things properly. His patience and calm demeanor will help motivate you to keep trying to achieve progress.

He is currently teaching Iron Strength where he uses foundation training concepts that focus on lengthening and strengthening the muscles with proper alignment. This class will challenge your body  to go beyond what you thought possible. Classes can be adjusted to all fitness levels so you can feel the burn without feeling burnt out.

Leon provides FST to help compliment your wellness journey.

FST is a table-based form of assisted stretching with a certified therapist.

Fascia is a biological fabric that holds us together – FST is used to improve improve performance, prevent injury, correct posture and  relieve pain.


 Taylor Langlais Lasante – Ontario Fitness Council Certfied Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor

Taylor is an Ontario Fitness Council (OFC) certified personal trainer. She was previously a Canfit certified personal trainer for five years. Taylor graduated with a BA in Psychology from Algoma University and a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion from Sault College. She integrates her training in Psychology with personal training and group training, particularly with athletes and other special populations. Taylor started her own personal training business in 2016 and has been training clients of all ages as well as teaching fitness classes. She is a competitive power-lifter and strength training enthusiast. She often focuses on strength and resistance training with her clients while teaching proper form and movement patterns which aid in living a long and healthy life!


Jaime Brideau – CNP (Certified Nutritional Practitioner)

Jaime Brideau graduated from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in 2012 with first class honours. As a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, Jaime began work in Toronto, before moving back to Sault Ste. Marie with her son, where she continues to focus on empowering other’s to take control of their health.

Growing up in Sault Ste. Marie, Jaime ate the typical diet of the her generation – Kraft Dinner, peanut butter and jam sandwiches, pasta and Froot Loops with 2% milk. After moving away from home to attend school for art, she fell severely ill and was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and Ankylosing Spondylitis. Battling with medications for months following, she decided that pharmaceuticals were not the answer she was looking for, and sought out a Naturopath. This experience changed her life.

Now, controlling both of her conditions through diet and lifestyle, Jaime seeks to provide realistic tools to for everyone to take their health into their own hands and see the power that whole foods, a healthy spirit, and a healthy mindset can have.


Sarah Celli – BSc., Strength & Conditioning Coach

She holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Psychology and an associate’s degree in Health and Fitness. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and holds many other certifications in the fitness field. Sarah loves being a trainer and motivating people to change their lives for the better. She is honored to be a part of each of her clients’ journeys to wellness. Sarah also has a strong passion for teaching fitness classes. You can always count on her to push you to your max because she knows you can do it!

JenJen Amadio strives to live a positive healthy lifestyle.  She graduated from university with a Bachelor of Sport and Physical Education (Honours) Specialization in Health Promotion and a Bachelor of Education degree, Jen has continued to educate herself in the realm of fitness.  Achieving several certificates and qualifications allow Jen to help people achieve their health and fitness goals.  Jen has traveled through work and because of that, she has gained knowledge and expertise from many different cultures and traditions from around the world.  Jen believes “that working to love oneself empowers us to develop a healthy positive self-image.  By working to find the strength within we will develop the strength to lead a prosperous and enriched life full of success and personal achievement.”

Sue has always been passionate about fitness and well-being.  As an elementary teacher, she sees first hand the positive effects fitness and well-being has on people.  She began her fitness career teaching aerobics at the YMCA and from their it flourished.

Daniel Roy – National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified and Fitness Instructor 

Training Philosophy: 

As a personal trainer, I provide clients with a program based on sound exercise principles and educate them in proper exercise technique. I believe balance is essential and that every muscle group is important for a functional, healthy body. I believe that total body training is an excellent way to lose weight and build muscle. People burn more calories, increase strength and improve general fitness by training the whole body. I also want to help clients be more efficient with their time in the gym because combining training with other enjoyable physical activities is a great way to promote and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

About me: 

I am originally from Montreal, I moved to the Soo at the end of 2019. I became a Personal Trainer because I love being active and wanted to encourage others to do the same. I have been a Personal Trainer for 13 years. I previously worked at Concordia University’s downtown Fitness Center as a Trainer and Spinning Instructor. More recently, for the last 3 years I was the manager for the entire fitness center which had more than 7000 members per semester. I love working and helping people achieve their goals. I played competitive basketball in college and I also enjoy running. I look forward to working with you and helping you make being active and healthy a part of your life.
