Balanced Bodies Course

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Personal trainers, fitness instructors, coaches, athletes and exercisers alike will learn to how to train the core and incorporate small apparatus equipment into group training for all levels. Balanced Bodies is a hands-on course in which participants learn how to train the core properly and incorporate postural assessment, good bio-mechanics, and injury prevention in a practical gym setting. Learning accurate exercise techniques will not only help participants to excel in the gym environment, such techniques will also transcend into activities of daily living.

Boot camp for All Levels Course


COURSE DESCRIPTION: Personal trainers and group exercise fitness instructors will learn safe and effective exercises for one on one or group training. Boot camp for All Levels is a practical course in which participants will learn new exercises to keep their boot camps safe, fun and interactive for all ages and fitness levels. Participants will learn a variety of exercises using body weight and small apparatus equipment. In addition participants will be taught techniques to help their boot camps run smoothly with minimal risk of injury.

Injury Prevention in Fitness Course


This course will focus on the prevention of common musculoskeletal disorders/injuries and is designed for personal trainers and group exercise fitness instructors. Participants will learn the importance of postural assessments and maintaining neutral positions during daily activities and during exercise. Lessons will be based on the principles of muscle balance, structural tolerance, and spinal integrity.

Maximize Your Workout Course

This course is designed for personal trainers and group fitness instructors to learn how to safely incorporate small apparatus equipment. Participants will build on the basic fundamentals of fitness by learning 30 new exercises with various pieces of equipment including the stability ball, TRX, gliders, resistance tubing, sport-tubing, bosu ball, and much more.

Pre and Post Natal Workshop

This month we will once again be conducting a workshop on Pre and Post Natal Fitness.  If you are pregnant or are expecting a baby, this workshop is for you!  Here you will learn all about what exercises are good for you and your baby.  We will also educate you on healthy eating and habits that will benefit you and your baby.  Whether you are a first time mom, or a mom of many, you will learn something new that will help you with your pre and post natal care.

Osteoporosis and Exercise

In this course you will learn what exercises are appropriate for those who suffer from osteoporosis.  We will also debunk the myths of osteoporosis and share facts about this disease.

Primal Patterns for Effective Movement

There are seven primal patterns that every trainer and person alike should know: squat, lunge, twist, bend, gait, pull, and push.  Every exerciser and training type should be aware of how these movements are linked to their training.  Learn how to teach these patterns properly and how to regress and  progress them in a proper sequence for optimal performance.  Using this style of training will guarantee success in your classes and with clients.  These primal patterns are also excellent at reducing injury.
