Childrens FitnessAt Fit Bodies. Fit Minds, we believe that a healthy lifestyle should begin at an early age and be encouraged throughout childhood. The children’s fitness classes offered at Fit Bodies. Fit Minds, promote and teach children the proper motor skills (basic movements) necessary to enable them to be more coordinated and reduce their chance of injury in their future. It is our hope that through these primary motor patterns that we can instill in children a sense and curiosity in sports, fitness, and health. Not only will we teach your child how to move properly, we will also teach them coping strategies to help them deal with stressors they may encounter in their future. In essence, we not only take care of the body, we take care of the mind as well!

Fam Jam Fitness

This class allows you to workout, move the body, and learn about wellness with your child or another younger member of your family. Whether you want to bring the kids or come alone, you will take part in different types of fitness genres to get the body moving for the health of it! All children must be accompanied by an adult who will stay with them for the duration of the class. Sign up now to take part in this unique and cool opportunity for you and your family.

Youth Fitness

This all levels fitness class is for all youth ages 10 to 15 . Classes will focus on teaching proper primal patterns using squatting, lunging, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting and variations of gait. The class puts a fun spin on exercises while using concepts in physical literacy to engage participants. The structure of the class is designed to select exercises that will help with posture, balance, strength and alignment of the body. This type of training will improve confidence in exercise or gym class, increase fitness levels, and movement patterns that are transferable to a variety of sports.
