PILATES

 

The Pilates class is a popular exercise routine that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels. It is a routine that focuses on core strength, co-ordination and flexibility; essentially deep muscle training from the inside out. Pilates classes have limited enrolment to ensure thorough attention to all clients.


We offer the following Pilates classes:

  • Pilates All-Levels
  • Spinal Fitness
  • Pilates Strength
  • ALIGN Mobility

 

REFORMER

Reformer pilates classes are done using a specialized pilates reformer machine. We offer all level classes that can be more dynamic than mat based pilates. The adjustable machine's springs add resistance to the pilates exercises.

Reformer can be used for rehabilitation, strength building, as well as intense athletic training.

We offer the following reformer classes:

 

  • Reformer Core
  • Reformer Burn
  • Reformer Strength
  • Athletic Reformer
  • IRON Reformer

 

Pilates and Reformer can be done in private, semi-private, or small group classes.


PLEASE NOTE: The use of gripped socks is mandatory on our pilates reformer machines. Gripped socks offer better traction and prevent slipping on the reformer, ensuring a secure and enjoyable exercise experience for all our valued clients. Additionally, they contribute to maintaining the cleanliness and longevity of our equipment, benefitting the entire studio community. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!


OUR CLASSES

ALL LEVELS PILATES

 

Pilates operates on the principle of "strengthening through lengthening". All-Levels Pilates incorporates core training to take you to the next level. Since intensity options are always given, this class will meet the fitness needs of everyone, including beginners and advanced participants.

 

SPINAL FITNESS

This integrative training regime uses Pilates inspired body weight and resistance exercises to strengthen and stretch muscles originating from the center of the body. This method aims to create overall muscle balance, structural tolerance, and spinal integrity. This class is prenatal friendly.

PILATES STRENGTH

 

This all-levels class is an intense workout that focuses on building strength, flexibility, and mobility. The exercises are very similar to traditional Pilates, but a choice of props and weights are used to make each move more difficult.

 

ALIGN MOBILITY

 

This is an all-levels class that teaches proper movement patterns and works on increasing range of motion through strength. Participants will practice active flexibility training, core strength, posture, and correct alignment in all planes. This class is great for anyone just starting their fitness journey, coming back from injury, or those working to maintain mobility.

 

REFORMER CORE

This is an all-levels class that focuses on deep core stabilization, alignment, balance, and working the body from the inside out.  There is a maximum number of 8 participants for reformer classes.

REFORMER BURN

This is an all-levels class that targets deep core stabilization, alignment, balance, and working the body from the inside out. Strength training is a main focus of the class, creating balance throughout the body. There is a maximum number of 8 participants for reformer classes.

REFORMER STRENGTH

 

This is an all-levels class that targets strength, deep core stabilization, alignment, mobility, flexibility, and working the body from the inside out. This intense and fun strength training creates balance throughout the body! There is a maximum number of 8 participants for reformer classes.

 

ATHLETIC REFORMER

This class should be in every athlete’s routine! You will focus on correcting posture and muscular imbalances, training your balance and stabilizer muscles needed in athletic performance, improving general muscular strength and endurance, and balance and flexibility. This is a cross-training necessity. The low impact Reformer exercises are gentle on the joints while providing a top tier workout that improves athletic ability! Our Reformer classes have a maximum capacity of 8 people.

IRON REFORMER

IRON Reformer is an up-beat, high energy Pilates Reformer class with loud music to keep you pumped up! This is our most advanced Reformer class with a focus on strength and endurance, and will take you to the next level in your fitness journey. Our Reformer classes have a maximum capacity of 8 people.
